Welcome to an ongoing discussion between a grandfather and grandson about living life well. I'm Ryan Holdeman and this is my grandpa. He's 95 years old and has spent his entire adult life courageously asking questions. He asks questions to learn and to challenge with a heart of joy and love. At 21 years old, he became a pastor of a Mennonite church. This would begin a long and winding road with stops as a husband, a father, in the Methodist church, as head of probation, and back into the pastor's chair in a couple of unaffiliated contexts. He still speaks every Sunday to a community of folks.
I've had the good fortune to have many one-on-one conversations with him through the years, and after a scary fall he took, I realized the time was now to capture some of our dialogue.
